I would like to present helmets used by Czechoslovak soldiers and Civil Defence members since WWI till present. The period photos illustrates not only helmet types used by Czechs and Slovaks during almost 100 years but also concentrated view to Czechoslovak history. I hope that these photos would be interesting for helmet fans.
INFANTRY HELMETS

Czechoslovak vz. 20 helmet with removed comb
M17 style helmet of Autro-Hungarian origin was used for short time in early post ww1 period. Production of vz.20 helmet model started in 1919. Combs from vz.20s were removed in 1934 and the denomination vz.20 was continuously used.

Czechoslovak vz. 20 (M20) helmet
Helmet like "Austrian helmet" model with additional decorative comb. Tank attack with infantry support. Two soldiers at the right are MG team with light MG Madsen vz.1923. The tanks at background are Renaults M18.
